They took off work early on a Wednesday, showing Moose around Lower Yosemite Falls and Mirror Lake. Little did she know, John was carrying the ring in his jacket pocket the entire time, terrified it was somehow going to fall out on the trail, tumble down the mountain, and be gone forever. After a day of hiking, the sun was starting to set, and yet John hadn't found the perfect time to ask his question. They began the drive out of the park until John casually suggested they turn around for one final view of the park at Tunnel View. While John checked the ring was still in his pocket for the 100th time that day, Veronica picked Moose up to take in the view one final time. It was time. John got on one knee and asked them to turn around so he could ask the easiest question he's ever asked. John proposed to Veronica and Moose overlooking Yosemite valley. Veronica giggled, Moose grunted, but most importantly, they both said YES.
