Tessa Rife and Dave Pennington's Wedding Website

Dave and Tessa went on a trip to Monterey, CA, in November 2019. It was on a beautiful hike in Point Lobos State Park where Dave proposed. Dave and Tessa hiked to the top of an outlook called Whaler's Knoll. They had the full area to themselves and were taking in the scenery. Dave kneeled down, and Tessa thought he was just putting his hiking pack down. Then she realized that he had a small box in his hands and was starting to propose - and she said yes! It was the absolute happiest moment! Dave proposed with the original ring Tessa picked out, and surprised Tessa later that night with the more traditional diamond ring under her pillow. Lucky for Dave, she loved both. Lucky for Tessa, she now has two engagement rings, and prefers to wear the traditional(ish) ring on her wedding ring finger. Dave did good. ;)
