It was the summer of the beginning of seventh grade when we had our first interaction. At a classmates party, my best friend at the time danced with him and shortly after they started dating. I always thought he was cute so some time after when they broke up, I made my moves. Thankfully he was the TA in my computer science class and I could spend plenty of time pretending to be clueless about absolutely anything I could to entice him to come over and "help me out". Eventually, all my flirting must have worked as during our next class field trip to Universal studios we began to "date". Being so young at the time, our first relationship was a very childish kind of love. Since those first few steps, our love story has spanned many years surviving through both the numerous ups and downs. In both love and life we have grown, together and separately. After moving to college we broke up for what we both thought was the last time. We remained friends however, not willing to throw away all the years we spent with each other. We always had each others backs in many of life's adventures and hardships. I always held out hope that we would come together again, but there was never a certainty that we would ever reunite. When things finally started moving again between us, I told him, "If we get together again, it's for good." Maybe that's why it took so long for our hearts to finally find their way back together, because we both needed to be sure and ready for the next step. Almost fifteen years later, we are finally taking our next steps towards forever and we are so glad to have you all celebrate the union with us.
