Our first real vacation together was with the Gerber family to Maine in July of 2020- a place where Meghan grew up spending her summers at overnight camp, and a state that means so much to her family. Tyler quickly understood why Maine was such a special place, and he bought into the lake life, the lobster bakes, and he tolerated the endless stories of summer camp. During Tyler's fourth trip to Vacationland, Meghan finally took him for a tour of the summer camp that he had heard so much about. Meghan, who thought the trip to camp was her idea, had no idea that the stop there was premeditated; Tyler had planned this day with the camp directors months earlier! The tour started with Meghan taking Tyler down to the docks- a place where Meghan had made so many memories before-, and it was there that Tyler dropped to one knee, asked Meghan to marry him, and Meghan said yes! The celebrations carried on for the remainder of the vacation, and we are so excited to continue celebrating this exciting chapter in our lives with you.
