The beginning of our story took place our freshman year of college when we met through a mutual friend. We definitely never thought we would ever be more than friends! After 2 years of a very close friendship and countless statements of "that's never going to happen" when asked why we were not together, we finally ended up in an even closer relationship. On Pentecost Sunday, June 5th, 2022, we went on a picnic at Locust Grove in Louisville, KY and we left engaged! Yes, permission to propose was asked for and given!
