Katie organized a surprise birthday weekend for Krista. The weekend started at 5 AM on Saturday morning. Katie rolled Krista out of bed with some coffee, and they were on their way. Three hours later, they arrived at a trailhead inside Mt Rainier National Park. After an hour of hiking to the perfect spot, Katie set up a tripod, so that they could take photos together. Krista was enjoying the view and then turned around to find Katie down on one knee. Katie proposed, and Krista said yes! Krista had also brought a ring that she had been carrying around for a few months. She got down on one knee and asked Katie to marry her. Katie also said yes! A group of hikers who watched the proposals offered to take photos of the two and captured all of the happiness and love.
