Kristle

Maid of Honor

Hi all! I’m Kristle, Kelsey’s Maid of Honor. I met Kelsey during our first week at University of Oregon. We were in the same FIG — Freshman Interest Group — and happened to live in the same building. We quickly became great friends (BFFLs as I like to say). I met James shortly after Kelsey and him began dating. We bonded over how much we both love Kelsey during his many visits to Eugene!

Thomas

Best Man

Hello everyone! I’m Thomas. James’s Best Man. I’ve known James since I was in Huggies. He’s been my best friend ever since! Playing golf, eating unrealistic amounts of food, playing video games till the sun rises, we’ve done it all. Truly my best bud. I met Kelsey a bit into their relationship! First girl James had ever introduced to me and since then we’ve all had tons of fun together! I’m excited for them to take the next step in their relationship and tie the knot!

Alexandra

Bridesmaid

I’ve technically known Kelsey since high school, but we became close in her freshman year of college when she joined the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and became my little. I met James when he and Kelsey first started dating! The best part about meeting James was that he not only became Kelsey's boyfriend, but a good friend of mine as well. I’ve had the honor of watching their relationship blossom from the beginning, and could not be more honored to stand with these two on their special day!

Bryce

Groomsman

I’ve know James aka big jim aka jimmy aka jimbo aka big game james since we were young boys at Rivergrove Elementary. He’s been such a great friend to me through all the good and the bad. We’ve grown so much together. He’s so solid and that’s what I appreciate most about our friendship, also our shared love of Budweiser. I’ve loved Kelsey since the day I was introduced to her. Can’t wait for them to tie the knot. See you on Game day!

Cassidy

Bridesmaid

Kels and I first met as kiddos on the school bus, where she shared her seat and big ideas with me every day. We reconnected as freshman at UO and grew close after joining the same sorority. I watched James fall head over heels for Kels on the night that they met and have been happy to call him a friend too ever since. I can’t wait to support this special couple on their big day!

Ryan

Groomsman

James and I met through our now fiancés, Kelsey and Cassidy, while they were going to school at UO. We quickly bonded over our shared love of all things nerdy. Over the years since, James has become someone that I can always rely on and one of my best friends. I’m so happy to get to stand by his side as he and Kelsey get married.

Heather

Bridesmaid

I've known Kelsey since the day she was born! I was so excited when Dad and Debbie brought home the little bundle- and it's been even more exciting to see my sister grow into a beautiful woman (inside and out!)... and now marrying an incredible guy! James could not be a more perfect match -- kind, funny and AMAZING with kids. In fact, he's somewhat of a celebrity in my household. My 10-yr-old, football-loving son, Xavier (Kelsey's nephew) literally can't get enough of him! Their recent visit to us in Connecticut was a highlight. It's been a joy seeing Kelsey and James start their journey together and I couldn't be more thrilled for them to embark on this next chapter and officially welcome James into our family. Much love and best wishes for a wonderful life ahead!

Brian

Groomsman

I'm Kelsey's brother and there's a big age gap, so I have great memories from when she was little. One of my favorites was taking her to the zoo and seeing how much little Kelsey loved the leopards and giraffes - apparently she likes spots! I'm so happy to see the amazing person she's become and so happy she met James. Every time James walks into a room everyone runs to give him a hug - me included. I also love that Kelsey and James love games - lots of cribbage in our future! Excited for this couple and all the future holds.

Jordan

Bridesmaid

James is my big bro and my best friend. Knowing that my god sister Emily introduced Kelsey to James automatically set her ahead of the rest. Getting to know their love has made me happier than ever. I cant wait for our future life together and to finally have a sister

Garrison

Groomsman

James and I met in 3rd grade when he moved to Lake Oswego, and we quickly bonded playing Star Wars Battlefront, pranking the neighbor on the corner, and returning empty cans to buy Coca-Cola at Safeway. As we’ve grown up our interests have changed - now playing golf, and returning empty cans to buy Budweiser at Safeway - but we’ve stayed as close as ever. James introduced me to Kelsey in Eugene and I’ve gotten to know her over the years not only as James’s partner, but as an incredible, independent young woman and a friend. I am beyond excited for these two to tie the knot and start a new chapter together in the great mystery we call life!

Emma

Bridesmaid

Kelsey and I met in college through our sorority. We bonded over marketing classes, wine, travel and our love for The Bachelor. We now both work at Nike and get lunch together at least once a week.

Max

Groomsman

My name is Max! I've had the pleasure of having James as a buddy of mine for the past 18 years now since he arrived at Rivergrove Elementary. Man has it been a killer run! Playing sports (despite him nearly breaking my nose), eating great food, kicking his butt at cribbage, and chatting about life just scratches the surface. I deeply respect and try to emulate James's values of having a big heart and caring about his community. I can't thank him enough for our inevitable life long friendship. After meeting Kelsey in college and seeing the way he looked at her, I knew this day was bound to come. Knowing how much it meant to him, I even ran a mile out and back on the Pacific City dunes to make sure my guy had the ring in time to propose in 2021. Cheers to a perfect union!

Emily

Officiant

Hey, I’m Emily! I have known James my entire life, as our parents have been friends for decades. Kelsey and I met in college through our sorority. I introduced James to Kelsey my sophomore year of college and the rest is history!
