Karl Ertler and Rebekah Foelker's Wedding Website

We went backcountry skiing at Mt Rainier on Dec 23rd, just the two of us. Rebekah knew an engagement was coming soon, but didn't know it would happen that day. We were having a great day skiing and went up Mazama Ridge for one final lap. Mt Rainier was perfectly clear against the blue sky. We enjoyed the scenery for a bit and then Rebekah started gathering her things to ski back down. That's when Karl got the ring from his backpack, got down on one knee (impressive in ski boots on a snowy incline), and asked Rebekah to marry him! She happily said yes. Karl also brought two insulated "Mr" and "Mrs" tumblers and two mini bottles of prosecco to celebrate on the mountainside. It was the perfect way to end our engagement day!
