It all began on a Thursday night in November 2015, when Nick’s fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, threw one of their notorious parties. Jordan lived in the sorority next door, but hadn’t yet spent time at the fraternity, let alone talk to a cute older boy. That night, a friend told Jordan there was someone she wanted to introduce her to, named Nick Desanti. In true Jordan fashion, before anyone had the chance to make an introduction, she walked right up to Nick herself and decided they were going to get a drink. We wish we could say the rest is history… but Nick struck out asking Jordan to be his girlfriend several times in a matter of months. Finally, Jordan pushed her stubbornness aside, and asked Nick out on her own time in April 2016. Best decision of her (and who are we kidding- his) life. Fast forward 8 years, Jordan and Nick have built an amazing life together. From managing a few years of distance from Chicago to San Jose, to living with their best friends in Lakeview, to moving to their current beloved neighborhood in the Gold Coast, the two couldn’t be happier. From spontaneous oysters and martinis at Gibsons’ bar, lake-walks to window shopping, and getting engaged in the most beautiful church courtyard on Michigan Avenue, Chicago Gold Coast will forever have a special place in their hearts.
