Puerto Peñasco, Mexico is a very special place for Marisa & Jonathan because it was both their childhood vacation spot growing up and now they vacation there together with their families combined. On October, 19th, 2018, Jonathan had a plan to take Marisa up to the lighthouse and propose at sunset, but when they had missed sunset, he had to come up with a plan B. There was a stage that the fish market was prepping for a show that evening, so his new plan was to get up on stage and propose in front of the hundreds of people that were sitting in the stands. However, when he couldn't pay off the stage crew to let him up on stage, he had to come up with a plan C! Their first stop was at a bar called Boobar, where they have a tree house that you can climb into with a lookout over the ocean. Finally, over a round of tequila shots, Jonathan got down on one knee and asked Marisa to be his, forever 🥰 The setting was intimate and the moment was more perfect than she could ever imagine.
