Hand in hand Emily & Michael stepped out onto the 6th floor rooftop terrace at the Four Seasons, for what she thought was dinner with their parents. Together they looked out over the city and admired the sun as it began to set. After a few moments, as Michael’s nerves started to become apparent, he pointed, prompting her to look up. There, flying across the golden hour sky, was a small white plane pulling a banner with the words “Emily and Michael Forever” scrolled widely across it. Tears began to well up in her eyes as she realized the true purpose of their being there and the cause behind Michael's sudden nerves. A string quartet, which had been strategically tucked away to the side of the terrace, began softly playing “It Might Be You”. After some heartfelt words, Michael bent down to one knee, grabbing the royal blue ring box that was hidden in his pocket. Slowly opening the box to reveal a stunning cushion cut diamond ring, he asked “Will You Marry Me?”. Emily quickly replied “Of Course!” and they embraced. With that, confetti cannons exploded plumes of white confetti into the air and the string quartet switched to the upbeat, Vivaldi’s “La Primavera”. As the confetti floated down around them, their friends and family emerged from their hiding places around the terrace with cheers and celebrations. It was pure magic, a fairytale brought to life.
