Emily and Michael have a unique story, one that both would probably tell differently but what they have always agreed on is its ending. However, before we get to that, let me tell you how it began… Two weeks before Emily and Michael officially me, she noticedg him for the first time around campus. He was walking with a few mutual friends when she thought to herself, “Oh, he's cute”.  After a few more run-ins and attempts for Michael to notice her (which he did not, shame on him) she finally got the courage on Valentines day weekend to approach one of their mutual friends, who now is Michaels best man, and ask “Hey, who’s that guy?...I think he's cute, can you put in a good word!” followed by Lukes response of “Mikey?...okay, mission accepted”  Emily waited patiently for them to talk and for what she hoped the answer to be “I'm interested too!” Sadly it was not (LOL) to which she figured it wasn't meant to be and left to go to another bar. However, I guess cupid must have been working overtime that weekend and knocked some sense into him because a few moments later Michael showed up at the bar and walked straight up to her asking for a dance and forgiveness. Given Michael’s charm, it was hard for Emily to resist, she gave him another shot and honestly, the rest is history.  Emily called her mom a few days later and said something along the lines of “I don't want to jinx it, but I met this guy and well I like him. There's something different about this one.” After two months of dating, on April 9th, 2015 Michael officially asked Emily to be his girlfriend, to which she replied “I will have to think about it.” She figured let him sweat it out a bit as payback for the first night they met.
