It has been a rather a long journey for the two of us going the whole way back to 2011 when we met. Our love spans more than half of our lives and over 1,800 miles. From high school to adulthood, and from Pittsburgh to Salt Lake City, we are partners in the truest sense of the word and have quite literally grown through almost every life stage together. We met on a “blind date” to the movies back in high school at Seneca Valley and spent a handful of years together before parting ways to see what the world had to offer us as individuals. Dan moved to Park City to live his bachelor ski bum dream and Courtney decided she would try her hand at nursing school. What some may call fate, we had found ourselves back to each other the day of Courtney’s graduation when Dan happened to be in town for a family function. We then spent a few months trying long distance before Courtney flew to Utah to bring Dan back to Pittsburgh on their first of many cross country road trips. For about the next year or so, we spent time living back home only to find ourselves itching to find more of what the world had to offer, but this time together. That’s when we decided to pack up our cars and make another cross country road trip back to Salt Lake City where we have been living for the last 4 years with our small animal farm made up of our two geriatric cats, Phil and Larry, and our crazy dog, Layla. We’ve spent the last handful years exploring all that Utah has to offer from camping, skiing, hiking, and meeting some of the people that would become so important to us both. We are excited to come back to Pittsburgh and officially vow our love for each other in front of the most important people in our lives.
