Christine Benedict and Noah Anspach's Wedding Website
We're so excited to see those of you who are out-of-towners that are able to attend the wedding! We hope that besides the fun of the celebration you're able to enjoy your time in the Tri-state area. Christine was born and raised in this area and thus, would love to recommend some of her favorite spots to make the weekend just that much better for you!!
Mines of Spain Trail
11475 Mines of Spain Road, Dubuque, IA 52003This trail and the view is objectively the most beautiful spot in Iowa. We strongly recommend hiking and climbing a bit to see the view. The lookout on horseshoe bluff is actually where Noah proposed!!
Beecher's Ice Cream
1691 Asbury Road, Dubuque, IA 52001This is a yummy little ice cream shop where Christine has had many an ice cream cone.
4th Street Elevator
491 West 4th Street, Dubuque, IA 52001The 4th Street Elevator is a super cool little tourist attraction in Dubuque. It's a little intimidating if you have a fear of heights but still a cool experience with a great view of Dubuque and the Mississippi River!
Charlotte's Coffee House
1104 White Street, Dubuque, IA 52001This is a great spot for a yummy cup of coffee or some good food while you're in downtown Dubuque. This would be the ideal place to go after a visit to the 4th street elevator ;)
Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
3800 Arboretum Drive, Dubuque, IA 52001This garden is beautiful and right around the corner from where Christine grew up. Nothing captures spring quite like the Dubuque Arboretum
Horseshoe Mound Preserve
1679 North Blackjack Road, Galena, IL 61036This is a beautiful, and hidden gem in Galena with some little trails and a beautiful view!!
Trolley Depot Coffee & Tea Co
315 South Commerce Street, Galena, IL 61036This coffee shop is a little closer to the venue and closer to Galena Bible Church, Christine's home church. The couple that own actually attend GBC!!
Galena Bible Church
11108 U.S. 20, Galena, IL 61036This is the church Christine grew up in, and her parents attend now. Their service starts at 10:30am on Sunday, if you find yourself staying the night after the wedding.
