Brittany Buaas and Aaron Hampton's Wedding Website
Aaron and Brittany individually decided to take a chance & try the dating app Match. Brittany decided she would use Match's free trial and then let it expire having no luck on dating websites in the past. Luckily, she met Aaron on her very first Match date within 5 days of the free trial. On September 24th, 2018, Brittany and Aaron had their first date at Mexican Sugar at the Shops of Legacy in Plano. Brittany got there early & waited by the fountain (a short distance from the restaurant) to double-check that Aaron really was who he said. Thankfully, he was. Aaron was also thrilled Brittany was in fact not a catfish and even more beautiful in person. They ordered tacos and Moscow Mules, and spent the evening laughing for hours! After a minimum of 3 Moscow Mules, Brittany & Aaron danced together at the bar next door. Even though no one else was and the entirety of the bar was giving judgmental looks. After they finally sat down, Aaron told Brittany he had brought "talking cards" because he was worried they wouldn't have anything to talk about. He was overjoyed they hadn't actually needed to use them. Brittany fell out of her chair with laughter & demanded to see them. It was the first time Brittany had seen talking cards on a first date. The couple laughed & laughed and realized this was the most fun they had ever had on a first date. It is important to note this first date also included a stolen coat (accidental), an Uber that was not an Uber, an unhappy bouncer, a very kind Russian couple, a short nap, a mistaken address, the couple's first & last time being kicked out of an establishment, and a trail of "talking cards" that would only be discovered on Aaron's morning run. Although they have not had a date night that was as "interesting" as their first date, the last 4 years have been the best of their lives. Cheers to Brittany & Aaron and a lifetime of love, sweetness & laughter. "When I was a little girl, I'd spend hours looking for ladybugs. Finally, I'd give up and fall asleep in the grass. When I woke up, they were crawling all over me." - Under the Tuscan Sun
