Andrea and Mary reconnected when Andrea returned to SLO after finishing her PhD. Through her friendship with Mary, Andrea has become a card-carrying member of the Instant Pot cult, rediscovered a love of yoga, and spent a lot of hours relaxing on the beach with books, sunscreen, and quality conversation.

Tim is one of Nick's oldest friends dating back to Junior High school, where they shared their love for technology and spent many nights gaming together in each others homes. Tim is one of three members of the Muffin Clan.

Michael is Nick's oldest friend dating back to 5th or 6th grade where they shared class together then later found out they were practically neighbors. Michael and Nick spent near a decade an a half together on Wednesday night spaghetti nights, playing super smash brothers and the like. Michael is one of three members of the Muffin clan.

Carson is Andrea's oldest nephew, the one who made her an Auntie. Carson once took a road trip to Texas and back with Andrea, where they saw the Carlsbad Caverns, Tombstone, Joshua Tree National Park, and the Grand Canyon! Carson likes to play baseball and mini golf with Nick (and sometimes his Auntie, too).

Emmy is Andrea's youngest niece, potential future supreme court justice, and someday-olympic weightlifter. Emmy loves Nick to death (especially when she can pull on his beard) and is taking her time learning to say "Auntie."

Callen is one of Andrea's five year old nephews. He is a precocious, sweet kiddo who loves legos and his racetrack. Every time Andrea sees Callen, he asks her where Nick is. Clearly, Nick is a favorite with the kids.
