In the Fall of 2015, in Provo Utah, I was assigned to be a FHE group leader with Amber. Our roommates and group members became a fun group of friends. Every Monday we planned an activity to have some fun and get to know each other a little more. There was one girl who I developed a strong connection with. We became good friends and it was very easy. Little did I know, she had a crush on me the whole time. Then Summer came and we went our separate ways... Fast forward to Fall of 2017. For whatever reason, I couldn't get her out of my head for half the summer (I think we know why now). When I returned to Provo I asked her on a date. She accepted. In October, we went on our first date to Sundance where we rode the Halloween lift ride. We went on a few more dates after that until I left for 2 months for work. While away, all I could think about was how much I missed her. I felt sick not having her by my side. When I returned in January we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. Fast forward through building a relationship and spending a lot of time together to spending almost all our time together... I had began to feel true love. It was time. I couldn't believe what I was doing. I had bought the ring and it was time to make the best, easiest decision of my life. In June of 2018, just a few days after her 22nd birthday, we returned to Sundance. We rode the lift during the full moon. When we returned to the base, her friend was there and brought us to the bridge. As we were walking across the bridge I lost all feeling in my entire body. My friend turns around with a huge sign lit up with lights saying "MARRY ME" and I drop to a knee and pull out her diamond ring. I don't remember what I said, I honestly don't even know if she verbally said yes, but I kissed her and now we're getting married. She is perfect.
