Brian and Allie met back in 2018 as freshman at California State University, Fullerton. They both were looking for something on campus to get involved in and happened to pick the same club: Adventure Club. And that is where it all began! Brian being a nerdy CompSci major and Allie being a Public Health major, it seems that opposites were destined to attract! In this club, we hiked, camped, kayaked and met so many wonderful people, but most importantly this is where we found each other. It was in late October of 2018, we were starting out a hike, and Allie remembers looking over and about a foot up to her right, meeting Brian’s gaze and saying “Hi, I’m Allie!” He proceeded to introduce himself, gush about his wonderful high school experience doing drum-line and talked lovingly about his family, and the rest is history. They’ve traveled, hiked, rock climbed, road tripped, learned a little about life and love and have gone through some crazy world events. Above all the things they’ve done, and the places they’ve been, they are best friends, and although Brian doesn’t care for this term, Allie believes he is her “soul mate” of sorts. Fast forward to April of 2022, Brian and Allie are about to graduate from college - finally! It was a cool spring evening when Brian and Allie decided to take a sunset hike on one of our favorite local trails in Chino Hills. This isn’t unusual for they, so Allie was unsuspecting. When we got to the top of the hill Allie blinked in confusion as she noticed Cody, a mutual friend they had made in the hiking club, and a few other friends waiting for them. There were flowers, pictures from Brian and Allie’s adventures together and a heart shaped circle of garland that awaited them. She stood there in shock as she registered that he had pulled a fast one over on her. Long story short, this is where he proposed and it was absolutely perfect. One of the many things Allie love’s about Brian is how thoughtful and sweet he is. Whether there is a special occasion, or just because he goes out of his way to show his love, he makes things as sentimental and thoughtful as possible, and strives to never disappoint. She has no doubt in her mind that he will make a wonderful partner in this life, and that together they can do anything. We can’t wait to celebrate our big day with you all. 🤍
