Alex and Lee met in 2014, after a happen-chance introduction from a mutual friend at a small, quaint bar in Boston. Alex, a then-graduate student at Emerson College, invited the group over to her apartment, where Lee, who at the time worked in a shock physics lab at Harvard, soon learned they each had a passion for vinyl records and Mexican beer. After graduating from school, Alex decided to return to her hometown of Los Angeles, but not without Lee.
